Özbuğday Group has built an Anatolian High School with 32 classrooms in Antakya, the birthplace of the company in 2004 with the support it provided for education. Hüseyin Özbuğday Anatolian High School and Özbuğday Primary Schools provide education for more than 2500 students today.
Özbuğday Group also contributes to the education of young people who are successful and / or need financial support by providing non-refundable scholarship for a large number of students until today.
Purpose:
The purpose of the scholarship is to contribute to education of the students especially graduated from Özbuğday Primary School and Hüseyin Özbuğday Anatolian High School successfully, who gained right to get into a state university within the boundary of Turkey, who are depending on Atatürk’s principle and reforms, who have adopted modern life but have limited financial meansby providing non-refundable scholarshipopportunity during their higher education.
Candidacy Requirements:
-The priority of the fund, which provides scholarships to successful and needy students, is fatherless, motherless or mother and father-divorced, natural disaster victims and martyr’s children.
-To be Turkish citizen,
-To receive undergraduate education within the borders of the country,
-To have limited opportunities to meet educational expenses,
-To have at least 4.0/5.0 secondary education diploma grade,
-To be an individual who has the responsibility to contribute to our country and humanity in the light of positive sciences.
-Not to have anyone from close family still receiving Özbuğday Education and Success Fund Scholarship.
Scope:
Scholars are determined by the Scholarship Management. The amount of scholarship determined by the Scholarship Management every year is deposited monthly into the scholarship accounts that will be opened by the students. The scholarship is non-refundable and continues during normal education. This period is the Preparatory Program period plus four years for the students who will study foreign language preparatory program, and four years for the students who start from the first class without studying at Preparatory Program. It is maximum 7 years for the students of Faculty of Medicine, 1 year prep + 6 years undergraduate program. Scholarship rights continue when students within the scope of the scholarship transfer to another university or department. The student is obliged to inform the Scholarship Management in case of a break in education. Scholarship is provided during the active education period.
While scores at the university entrance exam and the success state in graduation and financial means of the students are taken into consideration for the scholarship admission, and the university success grades are the main criteria for sustainability.
The applicants personally forward the following documents and scholarship application form to the Scholarship Management every year. An interview is had during application. As a result of the interview, the students with the necessary conditions for the scholarship are determined and the response is notified by e-mail. (For this reason, all students must have e-mail accounts and must know that they will communicate with the scholarship management via e-mail during their scholarship period.)
Manner of Application:
Students who apply for scholarship must personally apply to Progen address from 1 to 10 Septemberby filling the application form to be downloaded from our site together with documents stated below. The quota and amount of the scholarship is determined by the Board of Directors before the beginning of the academic year.
Each year, the scholarship provided by the Scholarship Management only covers the education period in that year and is provided for 9 months. (between 15th October and 15th June.)
Applications other than the specified dates are not assessed. The assessments are made between 11 September and 30 September each year and are announced to the students with necessary conditions on the 1 October and the first scholarships are paid on 15 October.
Incomplete, inadequate, false documents or oral applications will not be assessed.

-Completely filled application form (It can be obtained from the scholarship center of which contact information is stated below via e-mail, fax from 2 to 11 September.)
-Copy of ID card with ID number
-1 photo
-Criminal record
-Document showing the success of secondary education (transcript)
-Copy of high school diploma
-Copy of TYT and AYT results
-Identity register copy (family)
-Copy of dormitory identity if he/she stays in dormitory
-Copy of university registration certificate
-Documents showing family income state (Payroll approved by the workplace, copy of retirement certificate showing the retirement pay for the retirees, certificate of non-income to be received from SSI on behalf of the family head for those who are incomeless, copy of documents showing deeds and properties, copy of the lease agreement and documents showing the other incomes)
-Success score certificate (Transcript for the university students)
Continuation of Scholarship:
The continuity of the scholarship depends on the condition of the students to be successful in their classes (Students must have passed all the classes with at least “D”) and they must certificate this success to the Scholarship Management. Transcripts should be notified to the fund management by email / fax or by hand at the end of the first term until 25 January and at the end of the second term by 1 September. Transcripts must be submitted in a format not to be interfered by receiving it from student affairs with seal and signature or from the official website of the university. The obligation to ensure that the transcripts have reached Fund Management belongs to the student. Transcripts not notified until the dates specified above are deemed invalid and the scholarship is canceled.
